Inigo is ONE – Our DIY Outdoor Photo Session

I know I’ve mentioned this  few times – but to me there is nothing more special than to capture a memories over the years.

OMG where is my tiny new born that we can cradle in one arm.  How did he turn into this cute little man who looks nothing like he used to?! It seems like yesterday when we saw his precious face.

It’s definitely crazy how quickly the time passes – but what I looooove to see is the personalities that emerge from this little man as he grow.

Inigo certainly brought the personality! This time he came secure in the knowledge that he L.O.V.E.D. outdoor play. And he H.A.T.E.D. holding his hand to lead him. He has his own way and direction and don’t want anyone to distract him. Oh and one more thing he hate having his clothes changed. So we didn’t even bother to changed him again because for sure it will definitely one big drama!

But I can’t help but  just adore this sweet boy and I know you’re going to love his smile and his goooooorgeous chinito eyes too!!!

Baby Wiggle DIY Indoor Photo Shoot

I have had this little blog since 2010 but it was year 2012 when i became so active of documenting our life – it’s been a place for me to express, reflect, connect with others, create, and document.  I love being able to look back on so many things in my life here on this little corner of the web.  I don’t see myself getting rid of it, I just wish it could stay as one of my priorities… and it hasn’t!  But it’s okay – my goal of 8-10 posts a month probably won’t happen in the coming months – but I will do the best I can, and most importantly, I will try to keep up with the documenting – not just for others to read, but for myself.

In the meantime I’d like to share some of the photos of Baby Wiggle. He is now 9 months old and I must say that he’s so adorable.

Search for Modern Cloth Nappying Pinays Babies 2015

The Modern Cloth Nappying Pinays is looking for adorable babies that will be the star of their incoming campaign ads.

If you are using cloth diapers then you should start browsing pictures of your babies.

Here’s the criteria. The search is also open for overseas.

INSTRUCTIONS
+ Prepare a HI-RESOLUTION PHOTO of your baby in Cloth Diapers.
Must be 300dpi, not PIXELATED, with good lighting,
POSTER-READY and POSTER-WORTHY.

+ PHOTO MUST BE FULL BODY. NO MISSING TOES OR FINGERS and
as much as possible, please shoot with a WHITE BACKGROUND.
+ THEME-based photos are encouraged.
Example: Superhero, Princess, Cupid, Nature etc.

+UNEDITED Photo must be emailed to MCNPbaby2015@gmail.com

+ Include the ff: details:
– Name of Baby
– Birthday of Baby
– Age of Baby in Photo
– Name of Parents
– Brand and Print of cloth diaper worn in photo
– Answer the question:
“Why do I love cloth?” Or

+Deadline of submission of entries is on September 30, 2014.

 We finally got the official picture of baby wiggle  and we are more than a happy and satisfied client.

As I mentioned in my previous post that after our private viewing session we were told that the chosen picture will be ready only within 4-6 weeks (maximum) but I guess I got a call from them even before the waiting period and they asked us to collect it from their shop which is located in second floor, opposite Book World, The Dubai Mall. We just presented our receipt and the small print out of the chosen image and viola they handed the paper bag containing the printed picture and CD.

Out of 35 images we narrowed it down to 10 then 5 then from best of five daddy,mommy and Kuya A voted for this one. We asked kuya A which one among the five is his favorite and he pointed out this super cute picture.Although I tempted to get the yawning picture kaso naman the image cost arm and leg so settled sa free..hehe. After all the best thing in life is free, right?!

As a stage mom I am super kilig with it kasi it captured his cuteness overload. Sabi ko nga ke Raquiza ” sana paglaki nya wala siang mapaiyak na babae sa kanyang kapogian”..hehe

Baby Wiggle with Pink Pepper Photography

One of the perks of giving birth to Mediclinic City Hospital is receiving a diaper bag full of freebies. And one of my favorite freebie was the complimentary voucher from Pink Pepper Photography.To capture the precious moments of the new born babies Mediclinic partnered with Pink Pepper Photography for one hour professional studio session .

The free voucher includes one high quality 6×4 print of your choice (also offered as a medium resolution digital copy).

The complimentary  voucher will expire within  60 days after giving birth so we tried to book the appointment early December but unfortunately December and January was their peak season and all the dates were blocked.We scheduled it January 13,2014. Originally, we wanted to have  family shoot kaso kuya A was really not feeling well kaya si baby wiggle na lang.

Overall the experience was awesome!The shoot was very smooth, the photographer was really accommodating and very talented. In fact he recommend to comeback and he will do the family session but as you know it took us 3 weeks before the viral infection left us.

Anyway, after the photo shoot we were advised to booked for the private viewing of the photos. You cannot view the images kasi on the same day kasi daw they will still edit some images.

Once you chose na your free picture they will also provide us the soft copy with medium resolution. they said that we can print the image up to 8 x 10 maximum. Or we can choose other images by paying aed 250 for low res (images can be upload in Facebook only) or aed 720 high res (images can be printed into life size portrait).

To be honest, we don’t want to shell out extra money we just wanted to get our freebies but the images were so amazing. There are lots of images that really captured the cuteness of baby wiggle. I will share the image (chosen one) once we get it from studio.

In the meantime this is one of the picture that Raquiza captured using her mobile. Ang cute no?

Letter to baby wiggle @ 3 months

How are you baby wiggle? You are now 3 months old and we are all excited. Your third month was full of new little milestone,changes,and lots of smiles. Your smiles makes our heart beat fast and you’ve been using those smiles to communicate with us.

You hate it whenever mommy will go out to run some errands because you knew that you need to use bottles.At first you hate the nips but with a little patience and a bit of practice, now, you’ve done well at taking a bottle. But I am glad that you’ve continued to do pretty well breastfeeding.

We took you to the hospital because of clogged nose and cough. Mommy was so worried that it may lead to pneumonia but the doctor advised that we just have to used Ocean’s spray and Nasal Aspirator. I can’ believe that despite of being sick you still managed to gain weight.

You’re also getting very strong,getting close to hold you head completely on your own and we are always shocked by your strong little legs.  You are little fussy when you can’t get your sleep. You like to talk,coo,scream and yell to get our attention. You are so much more alert,smiley,happy and occasionally demanding.

You love your kuya so much that this afternoon you laughed so loud while kuya A is doing his dancing tricks. I thank God for the bond that you and your big brother have.

You are so special and we are reminding ourselves to cherish every day with you. We love you so much and happy 3rd month!!

Pregnancy update @ 27 weeks..

Hi everyone! The rains have finally let up. Let’s cross our fingers it will stay this way and that the sun will shine in the Philippines.
As per the news eighty-three towns and cities in Luzon, including Metro Manila, were placed under a state of calamity after these areas were submerged by floods caused by three days of southwest monsoon (hanging habagat) rains, enhanced by tropical storm “Maring,” leaving at least 15 dead and affecting over one million people, officials said yesterday.

Let’s continue to pray for our country and for those who are affected by the rains and floods that they may feel God’s grace, too.

Anyhow, just to give you a quick pregnancy update. I am now on my 27th week.

How i’m feeling: Great – he’s getting so big… it’s hard to believe we’re already this far along!

Total Weight Gain: not sure – last checked I didn’t gain… probably because I am on a diet. I need to control my food intake to normalize my sugar. In fact, my OB recommended to see Endocrinologist after seeing sugar in my urine. I had my OGTT and the result was above normal. The Endocrinologist asked me to submit my weekly result to make sure that I will not end up with insulin shot. So every after two hours of eating I need to check my sugar. Masakit na nga daliri ko kakaprick.huhu

Well, for this month naman I’ve been a good girl na. I stopped eating rice and switched to wheat bread. So far the results is getting better. I am trying to control din ung mga sweets..pero in times of craving for rice I ate pero as in super kunti lang..

Maternity Clothes: lots of dresses

Gender: a BOY…

Movement: The movement was constant. Now that he’s getting bigger, I think he may be starting to run out of move. But I still feel his wiggling around in there.

Sleep: Can’t sleep last night medyo matigas at masakit ung tyan ko..parang he’s staying in just one side then sobrang tigas. We are talking to him nga asking him na”galaw-galaw din pag me time”..hahaha

What I miss: sleeping on my tummy and in lying position..

Cravings: so far wala naman..

Symptoms: just some slight discomfort in urinating that’s why hubby checked my urine and as expected I am positive to UTI. I emailed the result to my OB and I am just waiting for her instruction. While waiting I increased my water intake na din.But truly, nothing major!

Best moments this week:
I scoured Medela Breast Pump at Babyshop. They are on 50-70% off. I chose the electric breast pump para pagbalik ng work it will be easy for me to pump in our office. I also asked my colleague to buy Natalac supplements. I am planning to take it on my 36 weeks. It will to stimulate my body to produce more milk. Yes I am so positive this time that I can do exclusive breastfeeding and I am glad that hubby is supporting me.

Baby Wiggle Gender Reveal

Being a mom is an adventure and I feel fortunate to have this blog to share and remember our family journey.

We are so thrilled to share that baby wiggle is a BOY.We are so excited that little A will have a baby brother as what he always asked for us.

We actually did the ultrasound last Sunday, and we are very ecstatic.

Thank you for all of your love and support. We feel very blessed to have so many people expressing excitement and sharing in our joy with us.
