We’re all in search of that skin products, the right one for our skin type which will leave us looking a million dollars with baby skin soft.
With the rising temperature, protecting our skin from the buzz of the heat has never been so easy.
That’s why we have to prepare ourselves for the summer with the anti-ageing skin care.
Whatever our age, we all want to enjoy the benefits of healthy skin. The good news is Vaseline products are created for moment of divine indulgence.
Thank you Unilever for sending these goodies! Our family will surely smell fresh with supple skin of course!
When I found out that the two lovable monster will be back on-screen, hubby and I got really excited not for ourselves but for the little boy who is so fascinated with monster.
Little A is a huge fan of Mike and Sully and I can’t count on my fingers how many times we watched Monster Inc.
It took 12 years for Pixars to brings us Monsters University, a prequel. The story focuses with Mike and Sully, two monsters just trying to be the best Scarers they can be. And how the worst enemies became best friends in the end. The story has a clear message of never giving up on your dream, no matter what’s the obstacles, disappointments as long as you are giving your best and putting your heart into it, you will succeed.
I don’t want to sound spoiler but I recommend this family movie and I guarantee that everyone will have a good laugh.
Over the weekend I wanted to eat some tasty treats to satisfy my cravings! Despite that I should stick to a strict pregnancy diet in a desperate bid to keep my blood pressure down.
I gave up! I really craved for TAPSILOG. I am eating this food for 3 days now and di ako nagsasawa. I love how hubby cooks it. It’s so tender and malasa..so sarap!
I also had mangoes for dessert which I absolutely enjoyed every bite..
Just popping in with a quick update — I’m 16 weeks pregnant!!
I started feeling a lot better around this time, and I’m so glad to say that I have a ton more energy and nausea is almost nonexistent though there are times I still can’t control the vomiting issue especially when I smell lotion, strong perfume or when I’m on an empty stomach, so I try not to let myself get too hungry.
Heartburn is my main issue, and I have tried almost everything to get it to go away. I had it bad with little A, but I can’t say it was as bad as this. There are times when it nearly incapacitates me and I have to go sit down.
For cravings, I always want to eat croissant from Seattle’s Best almost everyday for breakfast. One thing I noticed there are foods which I super enjoyed eating before being pregnant that I cant stand the taste now a days.Previously, I’d love peanut butter in my toasted bread but now it taste awful to me.
My next appointment is on 22nd of June and by that time there’s a possibility of knowing the gender, which I am really looking forward to. I am excited and a teensy bit nervous.
Thanks again for supporting me and being here for me to share this with.
The 3 days off have literally been a whirlwind for me. So many things to do, that I forgot I was assigned to do the Friday teaching. My bad! Buti na lang teacher Jen was very efficient of reminding us of our schedule.
When I read her message I hurriedly open my email to see the lesson . I don’t have much time of preparation na so I need to improvise things.Swerte coz the topic is quite easy to discuss with kids. Swerte din kasi hubby printed and even helped me in preparing all the paper houses for our memory verse activity.
Our topic: The story of the wise and foolish builders (Matthew 7: 24-27)
Aim: To show the children that as Christians, we need to build our lives on Jesus Christ, so that when trouble comes we will be able to stand firm with faith in God.
Presentation: In this passage Jesus used a parable to explain how we want to built our foundation with him. The story tells us about a man who builds his house upon a rock. Think about what a rock is and what it feels like. It is very strong and sturdy. Jesus is like a rock. When we have Jesus in our lives it is like we are standing on a rock. We are not going to fall down when Jesus is holding us up. We have to rely on Jesus with every part of our lives. If we do rely on Jesus, He will not let us fall.
The second part of this story is about a man who built his house on the sand. What is sand like? It is squishy and it moves when you walk on it. The world is like sand. When we build our lives on whatever we want, but not Jesus, it is like standing on the sand. When life is hard the foundation we are standing on gets squishy and we will fall down. Without Jesus we fall down. The foolish man’s house fell down when the storm came.
For review I asked the kids few questions like:
What did the wise man build his house upon? The Rock
What did the foolish man build his house upon? The Sand
In our lives, who is really the Rock? Jesus
I also told them that like wise man if we listen to his word and put it into practice no matter what troubles we may encounter, Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us.
Memory Verse: Matthew 7:24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
For the activity, each of them decorate their own house. And when they’re done we helped them to assemble the house by gluing each side of the paper. Hubby was very supportive and he’s really helping me with the needs of the kids. That’s why I always encouraged him to try Kids Ministry kasi it’s very challenging and fulfilling, right teachers???
Special thanks to teacher Jen for assistance. By the way, have you noticed our tables? Ang saya noh..di na nahihirapan ang kids!! God’s blessing talaga for kids ministry..Yipeee!!
Hope everyone has had a wonderful week!.. Today’s topic is all about “pregnancy vanity” or in short umaarteng buntis..haha
Like any other mommies we should be cautious on any beauty products that we used everyday, simply because some topical ingredients get absorbed into the bloodstream and passed thru to our babies.
Pero aminin sometimes we just want to look pretty kahit buntis. I’m not the type of preggy kasi na nag go-glow ang skin kahit buntis. Well, for some reason I can’t find time to fix myself before going to work. I woke up super late my routine is ligo, bihis then go na without combing my hair. I combed my hair if it’s dry na kasi I have extreme falling hair.
But last week while waited for hubby in Mall of the Emirates, I got the chance to stopped by sa The Bodyshop store. I really don’t have any intentions of buying anything aside from my body scrub ung para loofah pero plastic (ano ngang tawag dun??)
While I was inside the shop I saw my favorite lip and cheek stain naexcite lang ako kya I took one and I was supposed to go to the counter na when I walked through their BB cream products. I loved using BB cream but again I need to stop now that I’m pregnant but when I asked the promo girl if their products are safe for preggy mom she said yes kasi di ba The Bodyshop products are all animal free testing and their products are made from mostly natural ingredients. Since I was already getting make-up items I also bought na din facial powder di pa pala kasama ung sponge dun separate pa. After paying my bills I realized that I exceeded to my budget. Ubos na ung allowance ko for one month..haha
I am no expert when it comes to vanity what good for me may not be good for others. I choose to use their products because gusto ko lang umarte at maging maganda..haha. In fact yesterday I received compliments that I look pretty daw..chos! By the way, I am using Cetaphil for my face..di pa naman ako gumanda sa kaartehan kong yan..hehe
