Dear Jelly Bean
DIY Fun Photo Shoot @ Home
I am enjoying taking photos using my phone only. It’s very handy and I can easily upload it right away.
Last Thursday I decided to take photos of Isabelle. The plan was documenting her growth on a monthly basis.
But I have to say that this can be challenging the boys wouldn’t sit still, they just wanted to play with the magnetic letters and Inigo will throw them everywhere. I had to tell them that I will allow them to watch Disney Channel if they will let me finish. And it works! Thank you Handy Manny and Agent OSO for the help!
Anyhooo, Sending you good vibes on a Sandy Saturday!
Letter to Jelly Bean @ 1 month old
My sweet and beautiful little princess…
A month old already. I can’t believe I have had a DAUGHTER for a month. My goodness, you have brought so much love into our home, and I have absolutely loved getting to know you better during this last month. You are so darn cute, you started to gained weight.
You look absolutely like your dad and I am consistently having to remind myself that you are his girl version. That’s why we are calling you ” little angelina” derived from your daddy’s name.
You have no idea just how much you are loved already… not only by us, but so many people we are fortunate to have in our lives.
I love our time when I am breastfeeding you. You have been a good eater and latched on right after you were born at the hospital, and I am so grateful for that.
You have had somewhat of a stuffy nose, which has made it a little more complicated for you to eat and sleep sometimes… but you are such a good girl when we have to suction you to help.
Your daddy and I have had several conversations we can’t believe that we are now a family of FIVE… including a li’l princess! I am excited to see how our relationship flourishes and grows in the coming months and years. I look forward to having a very special bond with you. I will always be here for you… to support you and love you unconditionally.
Love always,
Mommy

Sharjah Dining Out- Chinese New Year @ Chopsticks
And because it’s Chinese New Year we tried the Chinese restaurant in Sahara Mall. Nope we’re not Chinese.. umaarte lang!
While taking our orders they gave us their complementary chicharon with 3 different dipping sauces ( chili sauce, soy sauce and the sweet and sour). I don’t know if we are just hungry but we asked for another serving kasi masarap siya. hehe
For starter we sampled their Shrimp Dumpling and we did enjoyed this dish. Di siya tinipid sa shrimp and it’s very tasty.
For mains we had Chicken Cashew, Crispy Beef and Garlic Rice. The Chicken Cashew does not blend well with our choice of rice pero carry na din but the Crispy Beef is the best. So yummy and even without rice pwedeng papakin.
Verdict
Great value for money, fantastic choice and tasty dishes! A hole in one!

Wednesday Activity – Melted Mini Bundt Cake Crayons
We have a bunch of broken crayons I have been saving, but can’t find any way of how Kuya Angelo can still use it.
Then I thought it would be fun to try to recycle the crayons. And come up with something he will surely love.
The first thing I did was to pulled out the mini-bundt -shaped baking tray I bought from Day to Day.
Then we remove all the paper and break the crayons up into small pieces. We tried to fill the molds up so they were pretty full but without having any bits hanging over the edges of the shape.
Next place baking tray in oven until crayons melt. (About 15 mins.) I watched them closely until they are completely melted.
Remove tray from oven. Let cool for a few minutes, then put into the freezer until they harden.
Place baking tray on counter, turn it over and pop it out. They should fall out easily.
Aren’t they gorgeous?
Sunday Happenings
Whoa! it’s Sunday again. The weekends always go by too quickly! We debated going to the park or not but decided to stick around the house.
It’s Kuya Angelo’s Midterm Break. That means he’s off for the entire week and I need to prepare more activities than letting him watch Disney Channel.
So I decided to spend our Sunday afternoon with some fun art activities.
We used water color and water based tempera paint. And just let them doodle whatever they have in their mind. Kuya Angelo draws transportation theme while Inigo enjoyed the water and brushes..hehe
When the boys are done we started to clean up and I let them have free play.
But since malapit na yung Spelling competition I also prepare activities for him to practice the spelling.
This time instead of dictation and writing the correct spelling I let him circle the correct ones. I am planning to dedicate the week of reviewing him. Ay sus mas kabado ako ngayon kasi kalaban niya ibang school na.
That’s all for now! I’ll try to post more often.
Sweetest Adventure Christmas Party
I hope everyone had a wonderful valentines celebration today. While most of the couples and family choose to go on a date, hubby and I had a lovely time in our house soaking up every minute with our kids. We cuddle, play and cooked simple dinner to celebrate the occasion. We end our day watching Diary ng Panget in Cinema One.
Maybe is just me but as soon as February starts rolling I start to think of summer. Sigh! I am not yet over with winter season.
Since it wont be for a while I am excited to share our post holiday party with you!
Theme: Candy Land Party. It’s a sweetest adventure filled with lollipops, chocolates and candies.
I love Christmas! Who wouldn’t love this season.Kids just make it so much more fun right?! We enjoy decorating our Christmas party and make it more memorable by preparing lots of games and prizes.
We had six major raffle draw courtesy of KM Leaders. Gifts were handpicked by yours truly. I made sure that whoever will get the prize will definitely jump for joy…hehe
Gifts are from Toys R Us and Mango.
WOW. Is all I can really say with our Candy Buffet. Totally loving on all the details.
I could have stayed for hours munching through all of the sweets. That make me want to be a kid again! Thanks Teacher Jen. Also the Rocky Road Brownies really rocks the crowd. It was ultimate fave of the guests.
After wrapping my head around the idea of making a photobooth, I came up with an idea that turned out so great. This photobooth is so easy you can literally put it together in minutes. Seriously.
Backdrop are made of IKEA christmas wrapper and a store bought christmas banner.
After you make your fabulous photobooth you are gonna need some cute props, right? Luckily over the years we’ve kept some of the props we used in our previous parties and added christmas headdress from Home Centre.
Without further adieu. I’ll let the photos do the talking of our DIY Photo Booth.
Thank you so much to all who helped us to make this possible. From the parents, kids, sponsors and teachers thank you for your commitment.
