Hello World from Jelly Bean

Hi there Jelly Bean here! Finally I am out and so excited to see the world!
My mom gave birth last Monday via normal delivery. I am two days old now and weighed 2.4 kgs.

It saddened me that I can’t still be with my mom and dad.Doctors need to monitor my sugar and bilirubin count. For now I have to be in NICU to closely check my developments.

My photo therapy session started yesterday like my other siblings my blood is incompatible with mommy so I am slightly icteric.

But the good news is I am good sucker! Hehe.. And I love to drink milk. That’s why mom and dad always visit me to feed.

That’s it for now. Time to say bye and see you around!

Don’t forget to say a little prayer for me!

Jelly Bean Update @ 36 weeks

Actually I am on going 37 weeks so anytime soon I’ll give birth na. In fact my OB was so alarmed yesterday I am showing signs of pre-eclampsia.
I came to the hospital for my usual check up but my blood pressure was too high 214/110. Urine Dip test shows + 2 protein also.

Ayun bojak ako sa OB.. Hehe. To be honest it is my fault. Over the holiday talaga I didn’t pay much attention of what i’m eating. Parang laging eat all you can lang! With matching upto sawa sa sweets pa.
I’m not fond of drinking water din kaya ayun kaboom UTI positive din.

Since yesterday afternoon I am under observation. 24- hour urine collection, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, 24- hour glucose monitoring, ctg monitoring and I am done with my two shot of dexamethasone. Now I am waiting for the nurse for Jelly Bean ultrasound.

My glucose is quite high due to dexa shot and uncontrollable eating habit kaya my endocrinologist advised was to have insulin shot na din.

If everything went well today I can go home na and by next week they’ll do the induction. So for now please pray for me and Jelly Bean. Promise I’ll be good na!

Hello 2015

Happy New Year Friends! Pardon me but I’ll start my post with the latest achievement of our eldest son Kuya Angelo.

I am proud to say that he was awarded First Prize in their Spelling Bee Competition and not only that he’ll be qualified for the Emirates Level.

The second level will be conducted during the First week of February. School toppers of every school will participate in this level. Every participant will get a certificate and all the top winners will get a trophy. Whoa! This will be a great opportunity with him.

It was only during his winter break when we really focused and worked hard. We are doing it religiously. Every day we made sure that we are allotting time to finish the booklet.

The booklet contained words from A- Z and during our first few days we really made a lot of misspelled words but that doesn’t stopped him from learning. In fact he became more diligent and eager to learn.

And it paid off! I couldn’t ask for more! I can’t contain my happiness! Stage- mom alert talaga!

Congratulations Kuya Angelo! I knew that you are gifted and truly God’s Champion! I prayed that God will continue to bless you with wisdom and shower you with His graces.

Daddy, Mommy, Inigo and Jelly Bean are so proud of what you achieved.
