Letter to Jelly Bean @ 3 months

3 months old!  I can’t believe it.  This month has been filled with lots of smiles – big, open mouth, squishy eyed smiles.  Some of my favorite smiles in the whole world.  You’ve started to really take in the world around you and like to be walked around so you can see everything.  You’ve also become more comfortable with your surroundings and your ‘fussy moment ‘is lessen.

A couple weeks ago, you started discovering your hands and batting at objects.  In the morning you love sitting on the swing with toys on it and you have really started eyeing the toys, grabbing at them, and swatting them.  You also love staring at books and toys while sitting inside the toy room as well. Your favorite book is Angelina Ballerina.

When you grow up and wanted to enroll in Ballerina class, I will be willing to come and watch you doing the curtsy. Can’t wait seeing you performing on the stage.

Sleeping time has never been a problem even from the start that you were born. You established your routine now and you are already in bed at 5:30 pm and will wake up at 5am in between of course mommy is still nursing you. I am so proud that for three months i am still exclusively breastfeeding you. The golden milk helps you a lot in giving you strong immunization. You never tasted vitamins except for Vit D which is necessary for your bones since the sun here is not recommended for babies.

I am amazed how you love the water and taking a bath now is so much fun. No more crying and screaming blues. Yay thank God!

You and your brothers are starting to interact a little more, you love to look and watching them playing.  You are such a happy baby and it is so much fun to see you grow and change so much each month.

It always melts my heart every time I heard you giggling while your daddy is playing with you. You are very snuggly and love being held. In fact when I can’t pacify you it was your daddy’s arm and lullaby comforts you.

Today, I prepared Baked Macaroni and Open Face Crispy Chicken for dinner. Kuya Angelo helped me to bake the Funfetti cupcakes.

I love you my sweet, pretty adorable little princess.

Love,

Mommy,Daddy A, Kuya Angelo and Kuya Inigo

Happy 3 months little princess

Hi Cutechi-cutechi Isabelle,

I think you are just adorable.  I look at you and can’t believe you’re mine now.  Although you and your daddy look alike, I think you definitely have your own little look.

I hope you never doubt my love and admiration for you.  I am so proud of you and love you more than you could ever fathom.  As much as I hate to see the time pass, it is so much fun to see you everyday – you’re growing and changing so much.

Love,

Mommy

Dubai Dining – New Food Destination – Dampa Seafood Grill

Seafood Restaurant have sprout out like mushrooms here in Dubai.  In fact, a number of Filipino restaurants continue to flourish in the city.Dampa Seafood Grill has been a little taste of heaven. But that heaven is located in the heart of Deira, a few steps away from Deira Metro Station.

The unique concept of the restaurant creates a buzz in social media and quickly gained popularity among filipinos.

This new food destination serves Pinoy foodfare with focus on grilled seafood. But if you are allergy to seafood and feel chicky then you can also try their buffalo wings.

We came all the way from Sharjah but that drive is worth it. The moment you enter you can feel the fun vibe of the place.

Dampa Seafood Grill restaurant is famous in serving fresh seafood cooked to your liking. Although the word dampa is originated as a typical bahay kubo. Hence here in Dubai  Dampa is simply means dumped the “seafeast” on the table lined with wax paper sheets.

As a seafood lover my eyes are feasting with the dishes. I can’t hardly choose. I wanted to eat them all! But in the end we settled to order one serving of Dump-@-Seafeast and a dish from the Chef’s Special.

As for the drinks, we shared two kinds of 1 liter Fish Bowl Mocktail which are already included in the menu. Hubby and I chose the Bluer than blue – is a tropical pineapple drink and blue curacao while Tita Raquiza quenched her thirst with Lindsay Lohan- it’s a mixture of passion fruit, pineapple and soda.

They also served a plate of complimentary crackers that taste like chicharap of Chowking.

Then after few minutes our server is standing right next to our table and ready to dumped our food. It’s a pile of saucy shrimps, crabs, mussels, clams and corn in Chipotle sauce. Our server, then, placed heaps of steamed rice in the lined wax paper. Did I mentioned that rice is unlimited. #ehdiwow

And because every dish is worth Instagram, they are offering free wifi. #ansabe

From the Chef’s Special, we ordered Grilled Squid and is beautifully presented in pan.

Cost – AED 168 not bad for four adults and 2 children.

Verdict – The food creates a bursting flavor inside my mouth. You can actually taste the freshness of seafood. Even daddy A agreed that the sauce has loads of flavor too fiery and sweet but doesn’t overwhelm the natural taste of seafood. In short sulit na sulit ang pera!

Centurion Bldg  is slowly evolving into a food strip, and the arrival of Dampa  Seafood Grill adds up to the reputation of this potentially lucrative food street.

Dubai Dining – The New Seafood in Bucket at Hor Al Anz, Deira

It was a late seafood cravings and we were supposed to try the newly opened Dampa Seafood Grill but when we called the restaurant they were already closed. When I checked the time it was half past 10pm na kaya pala we were all famished. We agreed na lang to go to Seafood in Bucket at Hor Al Anz, Deira.

If you are craving for seafood but don’t want to spend too much then you must visit their restaurant. They already have three branches in Dubai. Their first restaurant is located in Al Attar Karama, next is in Al Ansar Gallery, Karama and just recently they opened in Hor Al Anz, Deira.

Compare to their first branch, Hor Al Anz is much spacious and cozy. It’s not too crowded and you can really enjoy your food without thinking that others are still waiting outside to be serve.

Seafood in a bucket became popular in Dubai with their wit concept. They served the food in a tin bucket and you’ll eat it with your hands. One reason why binabalikan ng pinoy is that the rice is unlimited.#carbooverload

For a first timer, this is how it works. First, you’ll choose your catch. Starting from crab, clams, mussel, shrimp, lobster, sand lobster, tilapia, hammour, squid and salmon head. Second, you’ll choose your sauce. Third, you’ll decide the level of spiciness.

They also offer a variety of side dish to every meal. Whether you like corn on a cob, onion rings, crackers, sweet potato fries, seasoned wedges and piknik fries. They are all readily available.

No visit will be complete without trying their affordable coolers and dessert from The Workz Bakeshop.

The fun experience began as the staff placed wax paper sheets instead of plates on our table. Then, we were given complimentary crackers to nibble while waiting for our orders.

Our table consists of crabs in sweet chili sauce, mussels in garlic and butter sauce, sand lobster in black pepper sauce and calamari in garlic and butter sauce also. We requested to separate the sauce in all of our orders para less umay.

We also ordered their apple-cucumber and lemon iced- tea. And we were so excited to see the refreshing coolers served in huge glass jars.

We finished off with their best selling Red Velvet Cupcake and Chocolate Cupcake.

Maybe because I loved baking, i will never recommend these goodies to try on. Buti na lang mura lang siya aed 8 for each.Parang maipilit lang and dessert. Dessert are baked by The Bread Work’z. As per their name they need to really work on their pastries. Di masarap bow!#balikbayadboo!

Cost – Total of aed 128 for 3 persons including food, drinks and dessert.

Verdict – It’s a new experienced with family, friends and loved ones. A must visit restaurant which allows every customer to create their own favorite meal. I loved the simple yet elegant ambience with light fixings and graffiti walls.  Service wise – I liked how their staff are so attentive in giving extra rice and refilling our drinks.
