Sudden change of mood..

Little A: I want that girl! I will get that girl and I love that girl!
Mommy: Umayos ka na..at di mo alam ang sinasabi mo!
Hahaha..nainis!

Say cheese!! Pictorial @ Al Mamzar Park

I had something to tell you. When “momne-sia” attacks you have no option but to just laugh out loud. Ok I’ll tell you our horror experience. Last holiday we were invited to a birthday party. Since our schedule doesn’t meet our friend Jackie sent the invitation thru Facebook.

Ok..I read that the party will be on the Fun City. I informed hubby if he’s free he said yes, so we confirmed our attendance. But Oh my! What I didn’t read properly was the actual venue. We were at the Fun City Reef Mall and to my surprised there were no party at all. When I checked my FB account I found out that the venue was at the Arabian Centre.I looked at hubby’s face and good thing he didn’t even say a thing. My fault kasi all the while I thought that isa lang Fun City. Madami nga pala silang branches..hehehe

There’s no time to go there since we were already late na rin. I emailed Jackie and apologized.
Have you ever experience attending party at a wrong venue? I think it’s not about “mom-nesia syndrome” it’s my “kajologsan talaga” haha..

The little boy was so excited pa naman kaya we took the liberty na lang of some quality time.

and some popcorn time..

Moving on, after the fun at Fun City we went to our next pit, Mamzar Park. Raquiza and her colleagues were there for picnic. I liked their bonding! They were so nice to us actually some of them were a former colleague of hubby. He used to work in Belhoul Hospital before transferring to government hospital.

While we were eating little A was too busy naman for impromptu pictorial.

Giving little A an opportunity to meet new people and experience the world about them is a wonderful gift.

Thank you Ian for the pictures.

Ang batang sumbungero

Spending time with little A is really entertaining. I mean, at his age he really knows how to start a conversation. He talks a lot, he has so many “why” and he ask so many questions.

Yesterday while I am having my quiet time, he on the other hand is playing his toys.

Mommy: Little A there are lots of blocks under the chair. Can you get them?

Little A: Mommy it’s bricks not blocks,ok??

Mommy: Ah ok,can you get it please.

Little A: ok,mommy

Then after a while he started to play with another toy. And all of his blocks este bricks are all scattred on the floor.

Mommy: Little A if you will not play your bricks can you put back to the proper place, please.

Little A: Later mommy,I’m still playing!

Mommy: Remember I told you” you have to obey mommy and daddy”..

Little A: But I’m still playing..

Mommy: I will count and if you will not put it back then I need to discipline you. One!!

Little A started to clean up his toys with matching inarteng iyak. Yung fake na iyak.

Then tumunog and doorbell. He stopped and went straight to the door. Jumped to his dad and nagsumbong.

Daddy: How’s your day?

Little A: I cried.

Daddy: Really, why??

Little A: Because mommy is asking me to clean up the mess. I am talking gently but she started to count. She said 1…2…

hahaha..sumbungerong bata!

Our little architect

We haven’t been having too many creative activities around here lately! The little boy is been a little preoccupied building his village (according to him)..

Everyday play is what childhood should be about..

A child’s imagination is truly limitless..

These blocks can help foster some powerful imaginative thinking while also exploring important emotional, language skills, problem soving, confidence, abstract thinking, and more..

After he built his village he called me and pulled my hand to show his masterpiece..

For him it was an achievement! For me it was a confidence..

Seeing his excitement and joy while telling me that he created this village for us..

For daddy, mommy, tita keke, eric, tita rose and fathum..

Future Architect in the making..

Happy bonding with your kiddos!

Have a sweet rest of the week, friends!

NOOOO..you stay here with me,ok??

Last Sunday I took off from work so little A and I can have our bonding time at home. We read,we played starfall online game,we watched Lorax movie,we had afternoon nap.We ate popcorn and waffles.

In short we really had a great quality time together.

When I saw him busy playing around  the house, I grabbed the chance of ironing hubby’s uniform. Little A then saw his little teddy bear and gave it to me.

Little A: Here!! (showing the bear) It’s for you mommy!

Mommy: Wow thank you for sharing your toy..

Little A: If you always stay with me I will always give you bear..Don’t go to work.ok??

Wow.. I was speechless. This is something what he really wants “me’ being with him all day and not to go to work.

Mommy: But remember “mommy needs to go to work” because it’s a blessing from daddy God. Besides we should always be thankful that we are together here as a family, right??

Little A: NOOOO..you stay here with me,ok??

Have you ever caught in this situation where you wish staying at home ka na nga lang?

Don’t be afraid,Mom” Jesus is here”

Last night before our bedtime story little A asked if we can still play “hiding the blanket” first. Actually this is one of our bonding also. We will hide under the blanket and then daddy or tita keke will look for us.
Mommy: (me whispering to him) “what’s that”
Little A : Don’t whisper mom, say “what’s that” (in a louder tone)
Mommy: Ok, what’s that (following his tone)
Mommy: Little A have you heard something??
Little A: No!
Mommy: I think there’s owl outside
Little A: Don’t be afraid,Mom” Jesus is here
Mommy: Really? Where
Little A : Yes! (nodding) In my heart…he’s protecting us!!
Aww..I’m so overwhelmed naman that he really knew that Jesus is always protecting us.

I wish I have a magic lamp!

Little A is scheduled to go to dentist later luckily daddy is off today. We are so worried about his teeth because at his age sobrang lakas pa ding mag milk even at night. Our main concern is to prevent dental carries that might lead sa pagkabungi.

We booked him for dental check-up,cleaning and flouride for kids. I know it will be a big task for daddy to be alone in the clinic. With a toddler that has phobia with dentist I’m hoping little A will cooperate.

I have duty and can’t take off today as we are near the deadline. I’m working in a publishing company by the way..

Just now I called the house to check how are they doing and the next thing I knew little A is asking me to go home.

Mommy: How are you? How’s your day with daddy?

Little A: I cried.

Mommy: Why?

Little A: Because daddy said we will go to dentist. I don’t like mommy,I want you to be here. Can you come here, please…Im’afraid!

Haist! Times like this, I just wish I have a magic lamp. So I could easily ask the genie to send me home and comfort my son.#rantofaworkingmom..

No mommy, it’s not allowed!!

Last night little A was so kulit as in kulit to the point that daddy A needs to put him in time-out for 3 minutes (since he’s 3 already). I can hear from the other room that he’s crying and calling me but daddy A said that he needs to stay there in one corner.
Daddy: Little A stop calling mommy,
Little A: I wan’t my mommy..huhuhuhu. I want to go inside the room
Daddy:No stay there and don’t go to mommy
Then biglang nag ring ang phone ni daddy, ate cecille called to greet him. While he was on the phone, I called little A because I want to talk to him..
Mommy Little A, come here (I was in the other room)
Little A (still sobbing) I can’t!! huhuhu..I’m not allowed!!
Mommy: No it’s ok, mommy will talk to you..
Little A: No mommy, it’s not allowed!!
