Our movie date comes with an appetizing dinner. This time we decided to dine in at Romano’s Macaroni Grill. It’s exactly opposite of Dubai Aquarium and I can’t help but to stare at the fish.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill is known with the warmth of an open kitchen paired with the elegance of fresh gladiolas.
Famous with their tablecloths. They are using butcher paper and served with crayons that can add fun while waiting for your orders.
We started with a huge hunk of peasant complementary bread, some olive oil, and vinegrette. The bread is so good that you could gobble it instantly.
For our entree, daddy A ordered Chicken Under a Brick it’s a sage half chicken, roasted asparagus and orzo rice alongside with davola sauce. This dish is hubby’s favourite and so was the recommendation from the restaurant. It was great! The orzo rice and chicken compliment with each other and creates a wonderful taste.
While I devoured the Chicken Cacciatore – it’s chicken breast sauteed in tomato sauce with veggies like bell pepper and mushroom. I ordered mine with white sauce penne pasta —i was so disappointed considering this dish is the latest addition to their menu. It’s taste like Chicken Afritada and pang ulam siya.
Verdict- This is our second time to dine in RMG, the first was in DFC branch which is now closed. I can say over all experience is still great despite I ordered the wrong dish. The staff are very accomodating and helpful. The place is in nice location that even staring at the Dubai Aquarium can entertain guest.
A dash. A twist. A spark. It’s makes life interesting and that’s how Romano’s Macaroni Grill started!
