Have you ever been so tired the whole week that you become completely non functional at home? That’s what’s happened to me in the last few weeks; all day morning sickness have left me completely drained. So when hubby asked me if we can dropped by in Al Qasba for a Barney show I was more than happy to say yes. This is a great chance for little A to meet Barney and Friends.
Children’s favourite purple dinosaur was in Al Qasba last 25th – 27th April, 2013 and 2nd – 4th May, 2013 to spread his trademark cheer to every child who takes a ride on the Etisalat-Eye of the Emirates.
Barney along with his two bubbly friends, Baby Bop and BJ, had a fun time meeting kids and sharing giggles and songs, making this a perfect time to take a ‘flight’ on the region’s tallest Ferris wheel for anyone that is young at heart.
Entrance was aed 50 for kids and aed 30 for the parent/guardian. But we find it too expensive so we decided to watch na lang outside..hahaha
But the package includes fun-filled activities including face painting, an arts and crafts workshop, and even a photo booth so that they can take home a permanent souvenir of to remember the day. Kodak are charging extra aed 50 for printing.
After the show we ate at Nando’s hubby wanted to try the Espetada meal.
Hubby choose the Espetada Rustica – is an Age-Old-Recipe-a Wholesome Dish Made from Succulent, Flame Grilled Chicken Thighs, Basted in Peri-Peri, Stuffed with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Skewered with Red Onion. It’s Served with Bolo, a Homestyle Portuguese Bread, Bay Leaf Butter and a choice of side dish. But instead of salad he wants to eat it with rice. While he’s feasting with his food I ordered naman the Beef Trinchado – it’s a piping hot cubes of beef, basted with lemon and herb.Served with a Sprinkle of Bell Peppers and Jalapeno.I wanted mine naman with french fries.
Verdict – Everything we tried was fantastically flavored and grilled to perfection.
